A True story

I was being chased by 3 fearsome bulls. They were identical to each other with a mechanical quality like a wind-up toy or maybe something unearthed from ancient times. I know, that doesn’t make sense! I was scared, but not terrified — as they charged towards me in strict formation. Where did they come from? What was going on?

I had to get away from those bulls before they caught up with me.

Then to my right and up a rise I spied a wire fence. Perfect! If I could just get up there before the bulls I could climb through the fence to safety.

I was doing every thing I could to scare the bulls off. I was shouting in my loudest voice and making ferocious sounding growling noises. I was somehow on my hands and knees, bouncing up and down and making more noise than I have ever made in my life — I’m normally a soft spoken person who is often not heard.

Then, without warning, I was flat on my back on my bedroom floor. Hurting. The bulls had vanished. I had bounced off my bed. Somehow I bashed my right forehead on the…
